Our Vision

A future where every child has enough to thrive, and every young person believes they matter.

Our Mission

Good4Life Foundation feeds hungry school kids and builds resilient, confident young women - one snack bag and program at a time.

Our Purpose

Good4Life Foundation exists to relieve hunger, hardship and hopelessness among vulnerable children and young people in Australian schools and communities.

Our Programs

Snack Bags Program

Two-thirds of students are observed arriving hungry at school, which is why we assemble our snack bags and deliver them directly to schools to address the growing need for struggling children and families in our community.

'You Matter' Resilience Program

One in three girls struggle with their mental health and wellbeing, which is why we run our 'You Matter' program in schools, giving girls the tools and mentoring to build resilience and believe in themselves.

Ways to be involved

From donations to volunteering to business partnerships, there's a practical way for you to help a child believe they matter, starting today.

Our Pillars

01

Physical Wellbeing

Good4Life Foundation School Snack Bag Program - We ensure that vulnerable students have access to food and are ready to thrive. These efforts not only fuel bodies but also foster dignity, routine, and a sense of belonging.
02

Mental & Emotional Wellness

Good4Life Foundation Resilience Programs - Through music, reflective practices, and interactive learning, students are equipped to navigate challenges, express themselves, and grow in confidence. Our resources are designed to affirm each child’s and young person’s worth and help them build a healthy inner life.
03

Social Connection

Good4Life Foundation helps people build positive connections with their families, peers, and wider community. We celebrate differences and contribute to a culture of inclusion and respect.
04

Support & Service

Good4Life Foundation encourages people to look beyond themselves—to recognise the needs of others and respond with care. Good 4 Life volunteer programs cultivate a spirit of kindness, gratitude, and service. Whether through small acts of generosity or larger community projects, people discover the joy of giving and the power of being part of something bigger. We guide them to become compassionate leaders who uplift those around them.

What people are saying

  • Amazing!

"It's amazing to see children get the food and nutrition they may otherwise miss out on."

    School Teacher

  • More schools need this

"In today's cost-of-living crisis, the number of families struggling week to week and children going without food is alarming! We need to get the Good For Life food program into more schools on the Sunshine Coast."

    Community Spokesperson

  • "It caters for every child"

"The food bags have been such a positive impact in the school community at Maroochydore State Primary. First and foremost, the sticker on the bag… “you matter” has been such beautiful thing to see the kids read it out loud, pause and receive it into their little souls. From my lens it’s like some of the kids have never heard this before. I then repeat it and say, “yes you do matter”.

All in all, they have been such a nice gift to the kids who may not have enough snacks in their lunch, or none - Or need to know that they matter and are worth it. The bags really do cater for every child at our school."

Chappy Hannah - Maroochydore State Primary

  • "I felt like I didn't have to hide"

    - "It made me feel safe and open, and I felt like I didn't have to hide."
    - "We got to listen to music and make posters."
    - "The people were nice."
    - "Listening to music and having dance parties was fun."
    - "It is helping very slowly, so I am very happy."
    - "I love the program and got to say things."
    - "It helped calm me down."
    - "It was perfect."
    - "I could talk about stuff that I don't say to people."

    "You Matter" Resilience Program Students

No child should go hungry. No young person should doubt they matter.

Help us change that for one more school and one more kid who needs to hear it.

Meet Cathie Clancy + Brendon Clancy

Brendon and Cathie Clancy have spent over 40 years championing the wellbeing and future of children. It started in the 1990s with hands-on feeding programs in inner-city Melbourne, because they saw firsthand that kids need both food and emotional support to thrive. From there, their work grew into resilience and values-based programs for primary school students.

Alongside this, Brendon and Cathie have spent decades travelling the world, playing music in stadiums and small venues for kids and families everywhere. Today, that same heart for young people continues through the Good4Life Foundation, reaching lives and families across Australia and around the world.

Brendon and Cathie have always lived by one simple idea: people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. That's what School Snack Bag Programs and resilience initiatives like You Matter are built on, practical care that gives kids a reason to believe they matter, and helps the next generation feel safe, valued and ready to reach their full potential.

Every child deserves food in their belly and a reason to believe in themselves.

Join us and help make that true for kids across Australia.
